Welcome to the Year 3 Ash and Beech classes!
There is an action-packed year ahead with a rich and diverse curriculum aimed at creating challenge and developing the children's interests in a range of topics. In addition to developing skills in Maths and English, the children will get the chance to make and design their own kite; discover diverse areas of geography such as the continents and oceans around the world as well as Kenya and Ancient Egypt. Furthermore, we start to learn some French, possibly for the first time. That's not all, as we will be stepping back in time to discover life in the Stone Age. We will have an amazing day learning as much as we can about the Stone Age era from the Creative History Stone Age visit. Moreover, we will also visit the Box Moor Trust to support our scientific investigation into the materials we find in the world around us. Hopefully this gives you an idea of some of the things that we will be doing this year.
Ash is taught by Miss Woodger and supported by Mrs Ssmith. Beech is taught by Mrs Rance and supported by Mrs Dwight..
