South Hill Primary School

Ash are taught by Mrs Evans (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday mornings and Fridays)  and Mrs Toms (Wednesday and Thursday) and will be supported by Mrs Dwight (Every Morning) and Mrs Shaban (every afternoon).

 

PE Lessons will be taught on the following days:

Beech – Wednesday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor)

Ash  -  Wednesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor)

 

This first half term in History, we will be looking at 'What's it like to be a Monarch' . We will find out about Queen Elizabeth and her coronation and compare it with the coronation of  King Charles III. This will include a trip to  Windsor castle and many cross-curricular opportunities including a street party and creating our own flags.

 

Science will focus on Plants in the first half term and Shadows, Light and Reflection in Summer 2.We will find out about the parts of plants and their functions and carry out simple investigations.
