Governors at South Hill
Welcome to the Governors’ page of our school website. We are very fortunate to have a team of enthusiastic and caring governors who support the continual improvement of our school.
Governors have general responsibility to parents and the Local Authority for the effective management of our school, acting within the framework set by national legislation and the policies of the Local Authority.
It is the role of the Governors to ensure that our pupils get the best possible education and that standards are high within the school.
The Governing Body consists of representatives from parents, staff, the Local Authority and members co-opted by the Governing Body who have the skills required to contribute to the effective governance and success of our school.
The Governing Board currently meets six times a year.
