Welcome to our Year 6 page! 

 

We are really looking forward to working with your children as they enter their final year with us here at South Hill.  Year 6 is a special year group and we are very much looking forward to seeing the children reach their enormous potential as we work towards the SATs exams and as they begin their role as the oldest children in the school and as prefects.  They will be taking on the role of prefects where they will be role models around the school and setting a good example for the younger children as well as being a 'Buddy' for the new Reception children.

Mrs Howard will teach Sycamore Monday to Thursday and Mrs Hammond will teach on a Friday.  Miss Beamish will provide TA support on Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Rowley will provide TA support on a Thursday and Friday. 

Mrs Sisulu will teach Hazel all week and Mrs Smith and Mrs Jones will provide TA support throughout the week.  

 

Sycamore have PE on  Wednesday and Thursday, Hazel have PE on Thursday and Friday.  Please ensure children have appropriate PE clothing.
