Building Character, Learning Together
Year 2

Welcome to the Year 2, where we like to learn and work hard, whilst having fun in the process.
What a fantastic time we are going to have exploring our varied topicsthis year, starting with ‘What makes our world so amazing?’ During this topic we will learn about the continents and oceans of the world, as well as comparing other countries to the UK. In the second part of the Autumn term, we will look at ‘What makes a perfect celebration?’ and we will, of course, be including a celebration party of our own!
As always, we will be planning many engaging activities to inspire the children's learning so watch this space and Class Dojo to see the different variety of curriculum enhancement there will be.
In Year 2, we enjoy making links across subjects as well as within subjects – everything links to something else. We enjoy the challenge of learning new things and try hard to improve our work, always thinking about whether it is the best we can do. We are learning that it is okay to get things wrong - and to try things again.
